This is an unframed, original oil painting, entitled "Quarantined." It is signed and dated in the lower right corner. Titled on the back.
I painted this piece amdist the pandemic of 2020. People are being quarantined and wearing white surgical masks. At this time, store shelves are becoming empty due to panicked shoppers, major sporting events, concerts, shows and public gatherings are being cancelled. Education facilities are closing. Quarantined people are trapped on cruise ships. People are self-quarantined. Around the world, usually busy places are eerily quiet as less people go out in public. There are flight restrictions, closed shipyards and worldwide shut downs. Countries are closing their borders. The stock market is crashing. News reports are grim. States of emergency are being declared. The National Guard has been deployed. Testing supplies are not readily available and are being rationed. As of this writing, 5,375 people worldwide have died.
Quality, professional grade oil paints and walnut oil were used on a stretched, gallery wrap, 100% cotton duck canvas.
